R&B SURVEY

In question 2 90% of people listen to R&B music in this generation leaving the remaining 10% that doesn't listen to this type of music as they probably prefer a different genre. Therefore I understand that people listen to R&B and that it is one of the most popular genres of music.

Question 4 tells us if listening to R&B has impacted peoples lives, 69.23% say that "it makes them happy to listen to and it's just a vibe" and 23.08% say that "it hasn't impacted they're lives". lastly, when people listen to music it tends to make them happy 

In question 6 people was asked which of these artists do they listen to and the most common answer was Aaliyah and Ella Mai at joint 1st with (53.85%) and in joint second TLC and Bryson Triller at (46.15%). The least listen to artist in this survey is Jagged edge with (15.38%). with these results am gonna be able to evaluate what these artists are doing that makes them popular and apply it in my work.

In question 1 60% of survey was answered by women and 40% was male this shows that the target audience was mostly woman that attempted this survey. In my survey mostly females completed my survey.

Question 3 displays how much people listen to R&B music with the majority of people listening to music sometimes (38.46%), and the least amount of people that listen to music is (15.38%). Therefore, I have came to my conclusion that people generally listen to R&B sometimes.

  • Contemporary music (23.08%)

  • Old-school R&B 80s-90s (23.08%)

  • 2000s (7.69%)

In question 7 I asked people who there favourite artist is and most people was able to tell me what it is but one person didn't have one as they had many different favourite artist.
Therefore, this question was able to tell me which artist people listen to the most which can help me identify what those artist do to make them become popular. 

Question 8 tells me what words people would associate with R&B when I looked at the data presented to me I was able to realise that most people associated R&B with calm and chill vibes therefore I am going to use this to help me with my work later in the future with upcoming assignments.

In question 9 I was able to find out what peoples favourite R&B song was from my findings I was able to see that most people wasn't sure what their favourite song was but some people did know. In my opinion I feel that It is hard to find your fav song as people may like other genres of music and find it hard to decide between all of them.

Question 10 conveys what kind of clothes people associate with R&B as the most common answer was casual, streetwear which in my research this is mostly worn in the 2000's.

I chose this style because it stood out the most to me and I felt like it would blend in well with my poster above. The font type is called dark college and is textured which this then stands out way more against any background in my opinion.
